Thanks Glenn for your advice on the picnic issue. I will follow your advice and eat right. Small portions......that is the key. Thank you! How is the writing going? Weight is doing awesome. I'm in a plateau but I will get there. Be well, have a great evening and better Friday!

The writing is going well. I'm concentrating on a science fiction story now. It is emotional as it has a remarkable twist to it (some force in the universe guides artists/writers/musicians - no one can tell me otherwise). It is the seventh short story for this book. Finances are tight so I can't send out any work this month. I have to have a polished query letter and lots of agents I think will be good to send it to also, for the first book I'm sending out. Two books are completely done. A western needs a rewrite and it was a very emotionally draining book to write, the characters were almost like real people to me in these three books - the western a lot in many ways as many of these characters were created over twenty years ago. I need to just relax and let them back into my 'mind' and welcome them back into my life and not stress about finishing that book's overhaul. Books are like children - at least for me - it will be tough to have a favorite. I imagine one - if I'm lucky might catapult my career. Or a story could be made into a movie. I don't know what my fate is, but I know my twin sister who has read my writing thinks it's pretty good. And I believe I'm only getting better. Thanks for asking. As far as the dieting is concerned I plan to do lots of walking as my knees aren't bad now compared to my back and I have pain pills. Thankfully, at work where I do labor it is simple tasks... Have a fun picnic. It is supposed to be cold and rainy here the next two days, hope you have nice weather... :)

Thanks Glenn, we are expecting rain but picnic will be under cover. We are getting about 74-80 degree weather but have had a bit of rain. More on Sunday. I really hope I will someday read one of your books. Would love to add to my library. I have an extensive collection. Have a wonderful weekend if I don't talk later to you.

Info - I did my weigh-in when I was busy and in a hurry... Next Number - I also have many books and to be a good writer one must read a lot and I have been busy lately. The first book I'm trying to publish is religious sort of - though historical fiction - so it isn't for everyone. The second book is more historical fiction, but is set in the late 1600s and early 1700s in New England and everyone was so religious so that book is also a bit on the religious side because of the times it was set in, for example in many towns church attendance was mandated so if one is writing realistically about things then one cannot ignore it. The science fiction I'm writing now is so out there people will wonder who wrote this? :) Anyway, the dieting is going OK, I hope to be exercising more in the coming days - my advice is eat only when you're really hungry everyone. No mindless eating! By exercising I mean walking more if I can...
