Uuugggg! Once again I am back. Up, down, up, down, up, down. My weight is a constant yo-yo. I know what works for me - Atkins. I try it for a week, find something I am really wanting and then I justify eating it with "maybe I'll just count calories" and then I have a binge and I'm right back where I started.

Well here I go again and this time I am going to try really really really hard to not slip off of the Atkins Bus. I wanted to be sexy before my 30th birthday. :( I won't make it but I hope I will at least lose about 30 pounds or so and feel alot better about myself.
275.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 120.0 lb.    Diet followed poorly.
gaining 1.5 lb a week

Why don't you try carb cycling.? It's low carb but allows you eat higher carbs on some days.

I'm not on Atkins but I was the world's biggest binger until recently. I found that I binged when I wasn't wild about the food I was eating. Now I only eat meals I really love and I find I'm not tempted to look for something I think is going to be more satisfying.

Sexy is a state of mind. Weight loss is a health issue. As Suzi suggested, why not try carb cycling. There is a great book by Chris Powell called "Choose to Lose." He's had amazing results with his clients . . . 200-300 lbs off for some of them. It's an extremely healthy way to eat, takes the best of low carb and low cal and gives you one "splurge" day a week to eat all of your favorite foods. It's an eating plan you can live with, comfortably, for life. You can do this. Do it now so that you keep your health and don't have to do it when you're my age with poor health. You're already sexy.

Aww, thanks guys, I haven't checked in on my fatsecret since last week. I think I lost about 8 pounds last week. I have thought about carb cycling. I may try carb cycling eventually but for now I am feeling really focused so I will just keep on Atkins for awhile longer.
