Worse pic ever taken, 3/19/17. This is my starting point. I have been following Wheat Belly diet for 11 months 3/18/17. I struggle to lose weight on this diet. I have a lot less inflammation and feel good internally, my blood pressure has decraed, and my cholesterol blood tests are very good since being on WB, but I still haven't lost any weight due to thyroid issues (thyroid cancer). I am motivated to adhere to a keto diet, no more than 20 net carbs per day. This is a drastic reduction feom 50 net carbs per day, but I am very motivated to see if this change will result in weight loss.

MY STARTING WEIGHT got gooofed up. I believe my starting weight on 3/19/17 was around 220 lbs, not 209. I weighed 209 on 7/21/17.
217.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 52.0 lb.    Diet followed N/A.

From what I've read, low carb/keto works well when the thyroid is impaired (or removed). And seems like what you've accomplished with WB so far will further help you as you start keto since you have the inflammation business reduced. Best wishes!

You are right, that is an awful picture of you. I shoot for 20 carbs per day and 1200-1500 calories. This is what works for me and I am sure it will work for you too. Lets get this picture changed to a new and improved you!
