Weight has fluctuated down and up by a range of 10 pounds over the week, peak of 156, but I'm simply posting today's week end total. I know I don't gain 8 pounds fat in a day! When I see that, I just cock my head at the scale and say "Really? Really?" shrug, sigh, and get on with my day, trying not to allow it go get me down, though it does a little.

I'm still basically on Atkins induction, but allowing several ounces of salted nuts and hard cheeses for protein snacks. I suppose if I cut back on those, I might lose faster, but I am jealously trying to protect my muscles from being eaten up. I am using them, and not wanting to lose them! Still hitting slight and moderate on the ketone sticks, so am reassured that yes, I am still burning some of my own fat too.

Gained a little weight, but my measurements are improving: Widest point of upper arms:(still) 13 but more definition when flexed and more strength and endurance when working, widest point of upper leg: 21, down from 23, hips over fat pad tummy: 41.5, down from 42, hips under tummy: 40 down from 41, chest:33 down from 34, and waist: 33 down from 36.

A PT therapist I know, who had not seen me for several weeks greeted me with "Wow! You look terrific! You look like you have been working out!" Which is true. And walking at work. Best I can tell from the pedometer which keeps resetting itself and working itself off of my waistband, I would strongly un-recommend getting a WeGo round pedometer; the new ones are dreadful for those 2 reasons!) I walk 3-6 miles most days, some days as much as 11, depending on what they have me doing.
150.0 lb Lost so far: 43.0 lb.    Still to go: 20.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
gaining 2.3 lb a week
