Getting tired of stalls. Over a 1 month period I've lost 12 pounds, and most of the time, I pop up and down around the same weight. WHY AM I NOT LOSING????? *FRUSTRATED*
233.4 lb Lost so far: 11.6 lb.    Still to go: 23.4 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

You might try adding a fiber supplement, or upping your fiber slowly til you're getting between 20-25 grams per day. That does not mean counting the sugar alcohols, but real fiber-soluable and insoluable. AND always making sure you get the right amount of water to go with it. Too much all at once might cause a temporary water weight gain or might cause constipation so increase it slowly over several days. There are two things consistent with Atkins WOE during weight loss phases: 1. you will not be hungry, but 2. you will experience plateaus. Give it time. The pauses give your skin time to shrink and catch up with your inside muscle dimensions. We don't want to look like deflated baloons! Atkins is a way of eating for life, not a quick fix. Hang in there!

you should be eating 12 to 15 net carbs in acceptable veggies and only 4 to 6 ounces of meat per meal. sometimes the atkins bars and shakes might cause a weight stall; try not eating them for a week and see if you lose weight.

Holy crap girl, you are losing! I just looked at your diet history and graph. It is AMAZING! Honestly, My reaction to my own weight loss (without this website) would have been the same. BUT, BUT, BUT, I have been looking at all the other ladies that need to lose weight and I have realized, I don't lose weight like the TV show Biggest loser! Most women here, have also stalled the first week of February WHY WHY WHY! AND, most women seem to only be losing 2 pounds a week. YOU ARE DOING AN AMAZING JOB! BE PROUD! or you won't get to your goal. I know it sound like forever to get to where you want to be, but as long as you are MOVING and LOSING, you are WINNING!

Lizzy G - thank you so much!! i know I need to be more positive! I think my main problem is that the last diet I did (last May) was the HcG - it was AWFUL, but I lost 1 to 2 pounds every single day - I got used to that, and I just need to realize that this is a healthier way to go about things. And I'm so ON with DLynn's comment about the deflated balloon - that;s one of my biggest fears...

Deflated baloons, FUNNY! I do know my boobs become deflated baloons when I am skinny, and I LOVE it because they aren't hurting any more and at least I can stuff them in a bra and put on cute clothes! Ahhh, i am still months away, but we will get there!
