I've learned through this 10 pounds in 20 day thing why it is not a good idea to weigh every day. I know that at the end of the week I will have loss, but these ups and downs are getting to me. So, I guess I will finish this plan, but I will definitely go back to the weighing once a week after it is over!
189.4 lb Lost so far: 19.6 lb.    Still to go: 24.4 lb.    Diet followed 100%.
gaining 1.4 lb a week

Yeah, I was discouraged by doing it. I saw that I lost 6lbs in the week, but then I gained 1lb back over the weekend, and now it shows me as gaining 1.8lbs a week! Plus, like you, I get discouraged. You're doing fantastically, dear! Keep up the good work.

I have problems with weighing in everyday as well. I too get really discouraged when I see fluctuations (Specifically because I sometimes fluctuate as much as 3 to four pounds from day to day. ) Some people say that weighin in daily is better because it keeps you in line others say weekly because it allows you to see your progress without being mentally frustrated with the daily fluctuations. Personally, I choose to track calories and exercise as my day to day reminder and then weigh in weekly so I get the best of both worlds. Then again, I'm not doing very well, lol. You're doing great though, don't let it get to you!
