I've still need to make more time for exercise, but it is increasing. So, there's a plus. I did lose this week even though I really thought I wouldn't. I cheated with cookies way too many times. Thank You, Lord for your blessings.

School is going FANTASTIC!! I love learning. It's been great.

Family is doing well. My son did really well on his grades. Last quarter he had two F's and a D and this quarter it was one B and all rest were A's. He's been working harder and even his behavior issues from last quarter are dissipating. YES!!!!! I was so proud of him I told everybody. It embarrassed him a bit but I know it also made him feel special.

All in all, other than my disappointment in my cookie eating habits I've had a GREAT week. Thank You, Jesus for all the love You are pouring down on me.

7 Things I'm Grateful For:

1. Hardwork - It really does pay off. It is hard, it is often time consuming and energy draining, but it's worth it!!!

2. Salad & My Italian Dressing - I have always liked salad, but like most people I tend to eat more burgers than greens. Since changing my ways back in May and joining FatSecret, I've had more salad than my entire life before hand - and I'm loving. I still make myself burgers, but not too often. My first inclination is to eat a salad. When in doubt - salad. And what's great about a salad: variety!!! With my 6 calorie dressing, it's almost like ambrosia. Yum!!

3. Reading out loud - Something that was brought up in my lit class was that in the past, before TV's families in the evening would sit around and read to each other. In my house we still do. Every night my son and I read out loud to each other from anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on when we get started and how involved in the book we are. It's been a bonding the experience for us both and a great way to get through some fun books.

4. Gray Clouds - I know most people prefer sunshine, and I'm not objecting to it at all, but there is a beauty to cloudy days and a warmth that comes from standing inside your heated home with a cup of hot tea and a book and being grateful for the cloudy day.

5. Joseph Prince - If you don't know him, he's a televangelist out of Singapore. I don't listen too often to the televangelists because as a kid I found them to be very creepy. But, I'll admit, this guy as a great deal of insight. My mom bought me his devotional book and it has been very enlightening and mostly just helping me understand things that confused me before.

6. Stuffed Animals - Yes, I'm 31 years old and I own stuffed animals and I'm not ashamed. They bring such comfort and cheeriness to a room.

7. God - Without whom I'd be lost. The lover of my soul and giver of all that I have. You have blessed me everyday of my life and loved me beyond reason. Thank You!! Praise You!!

I hope you all have a FANTASTIC week. You are all in my prayers.
