Well, I'm back. It's so easy to get off track, but I'm rededicating myself to getting healthy. This time around I'm not going it alone, my mom and I are going to do this together. Unfortunately, we are both weak individuals who love food. All prayers and support are greatly welcome.

7 Things I'm Grateful For This Week:

1. School's out for Winter! - I took my final final exam yesterday and I'm on break for the next five weeks.
2. My Mom! - While I've been in school she's been helping me take care of my son and I'm so grateful to her for all her help and support.
3. A lack of snow - God and the weather channel have been very good to me. To go to school I drive to a location about 45 minutes away. We only had one snowfall this year, it was in October and it melted right away. Now that schools out, I don't care if it snows.
4. The Joy of Reading - I love to read, I love to explore new stories, I love new adventures, I love the escapism and excitement that comes from reading. So, how did I raise a child who hates reading?
5. Live Performance - There is nothing quite like going to a play or a concert. Although I don't go to either one too often, I do greatly appreciate it when I do. There is a palpable connection between performer and audience that can't be duplicated with a film or cd.
6. Kashi Products - What would I do without Kashi's low calorie breakfast cereals? Tasty and good for me. How can that be beat?
7. God - Who shows such amazing understanding, mercy and grace to a messed up person like me. Thank you!

Makparis, I wish you all the best as you get back on track. It is stressful to be in school. I remember those years. How much longer do you have to go? I just got back on track and cut out adding all sugar and candy and so on. I was feeling sick from how much I was eating of that stuff and it was making me feel so bad about myself. You sound like a wonderful person, may G-d bless your efforts and help you succeed to meet your goal. G-d bless you. From Milagirl.
