There were moments this week when I was right on and then there were others...

My biggest mistake was not enough exercise. My second mistake was thinking that I could fudge my calorie goal line. Oops. I'm learning, always learning. Hopefully I can get myself back on track this week. All your prayers are welcome.

Other than my health, this has been a good week for me. I'm excited to be starting back at school tomorrow. God has been teaching me so much, it's crazy. My son was sick part of the week which meant he was home which for me was nice to spend extra time with him. I'm very optimistic about what God has in store for me and I'm excited for the next few weeks. I think they'll be big for us all.

7 Things I'm so very, very Grateful for:

1. Patience - If God didn't have infinite patience He would have smote me long ago. I'm so grateful He is teaching me about patience because it is helping in my relationships with family and friends.

2. Gray clouds - Most people see a gray, cloudy morning and get all droopy. I've come to see the beauty in the gray and appreciate that each day is fresh and new and very unique. Gray cloudy days are perfect for reading a book or hanging out with family for a movie marathon. I love those days.

3. Hope - Because without hope, I'd be lost. There was a time in my life that I was without hope. I was aimless and unfocused. I had lost touch with my dreams and goals. I didn't even want to get out of bed. Hope has been rekindled and now I see all the blessings I have to live for.

4. Stuffed animals - They are goofy, cute, and cuddly. What more can you ask for?

5. Love - It is love that brings hope, joy and excitement into our lives. Love of what we do, love of who we are, love of those who are in our lives - these are what give us purpose and drive. Love can conquer anything, I believe that. Anyone who sees a mother cooing over her child knows how powerful love can be.

6. IPods - Music is a big part of my life and my iPod is how I bring that with me everywhere.

7. Trust - I'm learning everyday to trust God. It's been a long struggle to get to where I am, but it's freeing to get here. He has shown me His love and devotion and now He's teaching me to stand on that. When a relationship doesn't have trust, it's really not much of a relationship, so it's so very nice to see my relationship with my Lord and Savior growing and strengthening and I learn to trust.

I hope you all have a fantastic week and with you the very best. Don't forget to trust in God steadily, hope unswervingly and love extravagantly.
