DairyKing's Journal, 30 September 2011

Off to a good start. Down another 1/2 lb. this morning. 234.5 lbs. Yahoo! 20 lbs. in 2 months. Walked and jogged for 30 minutes this morning. I don't expect this rate of loss for the next months, but I sure feel a lot better, and as long as the weight trend remains in a downward direction, I will be ecstatic.
Went out to eat tonight. Looking at my diet journal, you would think I really pigged out, but I didn't. Had haystack onion rings and chicken gizzards and livers for an apetizer. Didn't eat many of the onion rings or livers. Ate about a cup of chicken gizzards. That about filled me up right there. I only ordered a polish sausage with green peppers and onions. Was expecting an italian sausage sandwich like you would get from a vendor at a New York deli, but it turned out to be nothing more than a hot dog with chopped onions and peppers on it. Since I was already pretty full from the apetizers, I threw the bun away, and just ate the hot dog and half the fries. Hard to break it all out accurately in the food journal, so I just took my best stab at it. Tomorrow is Saturday. Still plan an early morning workout - but not at 4:00 AM.
230.5 lb Lost so far: 24.0 lb.    Still to go: 40.5 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
