I'm back. I got really lazy over the holidays, but it is time to refocus. God is with me and we are moving forward on getting healthy. I hope everyone has had a wonderful holiday season and I also hope you all did better than me.
7 Things I'm Grateful For:
1. Family - Who are all very supportive of my weight-loss and aren't complaining about the healthy food nearly as much as I thought.
2. Books - Because they are so good at fertilizing my imagination.
3. TV on DVD - I've been busy with a design project and when I am in these situations I do one of two things, I list to music or I listen to TV shows I have on DVD. Since I've already seen these shows I don't have to focus on them, they can be noise in the background and yet there to entertain me when my computer is busy doing something.
4. Sandwiches - A great food that can be very healthy and so very filling.
5. Family recipes - Because they are a great way to see our history and enjoy traditions.
6. Holidays - I love the rest the holiday's can bring, the togetherness, and hopefully the thoughtfulness as well.
7. The Bible - A wonderful book, the Word of God, that has so many lessons for us. Lessons on hope, courage, conviction, faith, weight-loss, finances, family, love and so much more.
