We were on vacation in Hawaii December 8 through Dec 15 and I gained 4 pounds as all our meals were restaurant meals. It was impossible to track my calorie intake while on vacation. However, I lost that fairly quickly once we came home and I started eating normally again and was able to track my calorie intake. I use Fitbit software to track the calories I consume and my Fitbit tracks the calories I burn. I was unable to reach my weight goal until I bought my Fitbit. Once you know the calories you burn you can compare it to your calorie intake and adjust your diet accordingly. Unfortunately we attended three parties Christmas weekend and I gained 2 pounds over that period. Now that the holiday season is over I'm back on track.
