Well, facing the music and coming back here! Holidays have been crazy, plus dating a guy now who has horrid eating habits has not been good for me. My goal is to log everything, even if it is a bad day, so I keep myself accountable. I have been going to the gym almost daily though, so maybe I'll just call these last few weeks my 'bulking phase', getting all those gains, lol!

204.0 lb Lost so far: 46.0 lb.    Still to go: 34.0 lb.    Diet followed poorly.

That's great that you are making time to log your food. Hopefully it helps you pause and avoid eating anything you don't want to read about later. Here's to getting back on track.

I feel the same way about logging my food, it helps me even when I've gone bonkers and "killed off" half a tub of Ben & Gerry's (it's happened), next day I'm at the gym motivated to killing off those calories. Good luck!!

Logging food is essential for me, you should find it helpful. Wishing you lots of success.

Thanks for the support! And fortunately (or unfortunately depending on perspective) while the new guy is at a healthy weight, he has awful cholesterol levels, so he has goals of eating healthier, but is just bad at it. I think 90% of his diet is red meat and beer!

Yes, the holidays are hard to deal with, so is a date that is a big eater! I know you don't want to insult him buy not eating much, especially if he is paying for it. Most dates want to see the person they are dating enjoying themselves. You can always order a big Greek salad with chicken. I had one of those at Panera and it even came with an oil and vinegar dressing on it.

That's a good way to think about it... I tell people that I had a rather successful 40 year bulking cycle and now it's onto cutting.

Staying connected and logging are great steps back to being (and feeling), well . . . great!
