Been feeling EXTREMELY bloated even after a small meal and likely have acid reflux :/ it even acts up when I'm at the gym and working out. When I bend forward to pick something up I feel like I'm gonna vomit :( looks like I really need an over haul on my eating habits-not just because of my weight. Has anyone experienced this? Or have any recommendations??

You may not like me after this, but I haven't had any problems with digestion since I stopped fast and junk food.

I take Omeprazole for acid reflux. No matter how healthy I am eating I still have it if I don't take it every day.

Firstly, disclaimer: I'm by no way a nutritionist or doctor, I just had a lot of digestive issues and read A LOT of books about it, experimented for about 7 years now with my diet, and have a sincere interest in the operation of the digestive system. I used to have heartburn and nausea too, still have sometimes, for me it is caused by eating too much starchy foods and sugar, or foods I have a mild intolerance for. For me, the trick was not only to cut down on sugar (as we all know starch also turns into sugar, sob), but also actually eat MORE acidic foods. All that sugar had led to my stomach not having enough gastric acid, causing it to act up like that. There also are acid supplements, I forgot the name, though. If you actually have too much acid, you can drink milk to water it down. I also found that fennel tea helps whenever I have stomach issues. For the long term solution, it's a thing of healing your gut and getting your digestion on track. If you don't have celiac disease, you probably don't have to worry about gluten, it's just another protein. But grains are starch, so reduce them. You could of course have some food intolerances, causing your digestive system to rebel. Or the wrong bacteria growing in your digestive system, that can cause mayhem, too. Basically, there are thousands of reasons why this could happen. If you've tried everything and it doesn't stop, go see a doctor specialized in gastrology. Having gastric acid coming up into your esophagus (= heartburn/acid reflux) can cause some serious damage to your esophagus and it's closing muscle in the long run!
