ChrisSpark's Journal, 15 October 2015

Now, this is more like it !! I stepped on the scale three times to make sure it was right. After months of working hard at Crossfit and seeing my weight stay the same, it's sure nice to see some consistent drops lately. It would be super if I can maintain this through the winter months when I won't be able to bike around everywhere like I've been doing. I'm going to miss that.
I love the fall weather, so it is really cruel that the change in seasons brings with it a crash in mood that I struggle against every year. I have to force myself with all my will to get out of bed and get anything done....especially going to workout 3x a week. But so far, I'm doing it...one day at a time.
214.6 lb Lost so far: 40.4 lb.    Still to go: 69.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
losing 1.2 lb a week

That's great progress! RE your winter "crash" - have you looked into "seasonal affective disorder"? It sounds like that might be what you have going on, and there are methods to counteract this, like exposure to special light boxes.

I put full spectrum light bulbs in all of my lamps and light fixtures. They're a little more expensive, but last for a long time and help with the SAD. I have the same problem once the days start getting shorter. As for your weight progress, YAAAAAAAAY!!!

Thanks everyone !! And for the suggestions re: SAD. I hadn't heard of the full spectrum light bulbs before, so I will look into them. Thank you !

I got mine at Walmart. I would imagine any hardware would have them.
