So it seems my Dad had a heart attack yesterday. Today was tests and doctors and and lots of time spent together. He is doing very well and I am holding up well too. He is really getting old, thinner, more vulnerable. Still has a sparkle in his eyes. I think he held up real well. If you read my previous journal entry, it tells a bit more of the story. i just want to log my food and go to bed. I am sending prayers out to all of us who have struggles with caring for parents and children alike. Good night and peace to everyone.
169.0 lb Lost so far: 6.0 lb.    Still to go: 9.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I have been there. This can be a very stressful time in life, but you will look back when your opportunity to be there is done, and find it likely the most satisfying experience in life. Hang in there, stay healthy, and keep some support. Blessings!
