dorindam59's Journal, 14 July 2015

Well, I'm showing no loss or gain. But in between I had been going up and down, but last night a lot of water weight came off! I was up to go to the bathroom several times! That 179 is so elusive! But last weigh in I was concerned I was dehydrated, but now I know I am not, so I take this as a bit truer.

Our 30 days of prayer at church have been awesome! My day starts out so much better and I think I'm getting used to getting up earlier. I figure I'm recovered enough now that I should be sleeping a bit less, and the new hours are not affecting me poorly, though last night I didn't seem to sleep a whole lot. Some nights I sleep so hard its difficult to wake up!

Getting some new recipes together. I found one for a chocolate peanut butter cheesecake that I think I can adapt for low carb! I'm also going to rework my cake this week to perfect it so I can post it. Its getting a bit crazy at work, meetings all hours of the day, so it makes it a bit more difficult to take a break and make something! But Praise God I have a good job I enjoy and I get to work from home to give me the time to actually do things at home also! Of course it means I can't walk up stairs at work or stop at the gym on my way home, but I'm working on finding things I can do here!

Have a blessed day everyone!

You are doing wonderfully. I think a lot of us are waiting in anticipation for you to share some of your decadent recipes. Greg and you need to start working through recipes for a recipe book or a blog. I for one am always looking for delicious alternatives to "regular" foods. Actually, I think I might look into real estate opportunities and just become your friendly neighbor:) God bless....

lol! weird thing is after eating, I got on the scale before my shower this afternoon just for s&g and I was 180.2! We will see if that holds! Gwen you are funny! I agree, we do need to get our recipes together. I have told Greg to start writing things down. I started to post the cake on here but I wasn't happy with the results yet. Tonight I made Dorinda's Italian Chicken Bake, which was totally made up. Under 8 carbs for that part but I couldn't eat it all. I added green beans which have some carbs, but I'm still way under for the day. I took a picture and will upload it as soon as I can get it from my phone to the computer.
