Seven things I'm grateful for:

1. My mom. This week I fell down the stairs and it pretty much wiped me out. She stepped up with great support and love. She helped with my son and allowed me to heal.

2. Sunshine. It's been raining and windy with overcast skies for the last few days. Until today - let the sun shine!!!

3. Books. Thanks to my injury on the stairs, I've been laid up with not a lot to do. So I read. I love books, I love getting lost in stories and histories.

4. Halloween. An excuse for adults to get to act like kids again.

5. Internet. As a graphic designer, I'm on my computer daily. I love the fact that the internet allows me easy access to friends across the country and access to sites like FatSecret.

6. My dog, Schizo. While laid up this week, he was by my side giving me comfort. Love my dog.

7. God. The fact that I walked away from those stairs without breaking any bones - He was protecting me. Thank you.

Well, now we need to head out to a Halloween party. I promise to avoid the candy. ;)
