By the good Grace of God- I did not GAIN this week. Every day I ate like my OLD self; stress eating, gorging myself, not making healthy choices, eating till I was sick :( AND... I didn't walk ONE day :( That's why I didn't weigh i yesterday. Today starts a new week so I am picking myself up and moving forward. Got it out of my system and now it's time to get back on track! Hope everyone has a great week :)
214.5 lb Lost so far: 50.5 lb.    Still to go: 24.5 lb.    Diet followed poorly.

Try displacing food with water. Instead of that handful of chips drink two glasses of water, don't be afraid to eat just make the portions small. Instead of buying 1" thick pork chops buy 1/2". etc. half of a baked potatoe...instead of two eggs...one...instead of one egg...throw out the yoke...eat the white...you can do it.

Bless your heart, 3XM...What a COURAGEOUS journal!!! Thanks for sharing...AND thank you for your HONESTY....with yourself and with us. :-) I would bet some money (and just for the record, I have NEVER allowed myself to become a "gambler"/bettor, as I KNOW, for ME, that would be ANOTHER "addiction " I would have to overcome)...but I am VERY CONFIDENT a HIGH Percentage of folks who have weight loss surgery OR lose wieght successfully without surgery, RETURN to their OLD STYLE of EATING at some point...Sounds as though you have INDEED "gotten this out of your system" AND have MOVED back ON PLAN...Have a COMMITTED SEVEN DAYS and next week will FEEL so different ...EVEN IF THE SCALE does not support your committment...As a couple of my other FS buddies like to say...ONWARD ...and DOWNWARD!!!

PS: I dont have my calculator handy, but you are somewhere a little past 50% of your stated goal COMPLETED!!!!! YaY!!!! at this point, I will plan to figure your percentage at your first JULY weigh in...so that gives us BOTH 3 weeks to be "ON PLAN - ON POINT" (and I see my surgeon again then....so lets do this ...THIS WEEK, BUDDY!!!! THanks for ALL of your support...ALL of your BUDDIES are Blessed to have YOU as well.... :-)

Thank you for your confidence in me- more than I have in myself -lol! One thing about me- I am BRUTALLY honest- to a fault sometimes, as my husband likes to say-lol. You are so right in saying that ppl go back to their old eating habits. This is the ONE THING I am scared to death about. I don't want this surgery to be wasted. I have heard too many horror stories of ppl gaining most of their weight back. It's so hard to get "back on track", though. BUT.... with a great support system like I have here- it's a piece of cake (no pun intended-lol!) I am too hard on myself. But almost everyone has slip ups. It's time to "keep on keeping on" and "onward and downward" This will be my mantra for the remainder of the week! Looking forward to both of our weigh-ins next week. Thanks again for all your support :))
