Wooo hooo. Going down! See, when I don't eat the crap that I'm not supposed to, the scale goes down. I can eat an entire bag of candy but not a damn potatoe. Argh.
154.5 lb Lost so far: 2.5 lb.    Still to go: 14.5 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
losing 2.3 lb a week

Potatoes have quite a bit of resistant starch which can be inflammatory. Keep in mind that while your body shouldn't generally react with weight gain from something so simple it could be a sign of other issues. As you've indicated, there's a lot more going on than "simple calories in and calories out". Great that you're paying such close attention! Way to go!
