Did fine over the weekend. Ate at the Olive Garden on Saturday. Did well in choosing my food, though I did swell a little. The biggest obstacle for me is variety. I am finding myself in a rut with my fruits. I know that I need variety, it's just easier & cleaner for me to eat a banana, strawberries and grapes. I don't like eating apples because when I bite into them the fruit pushes against my gums and it hurts. I know...wah wah wah. So my goal for the week is fruit variety.
122.0 lb Lost so far: 3.0 lb.    Still to go: 7.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Maybe you can cut up your apples or peal the pealing off, maybe that will help. But I know what you mean about the gum thing, sometimes it does hurt. I used to only eat grapes and that was it. Just because I could count them out put them in a little container and I was ready to go. But since I've done the take off with oranges, I've been wanting more of those and also apples. So I'm getting somewhat of a variety if you can call that a variety. I'm very picky, its so annoying too, haha. I think pre-planning might help your variety. ???? Good luck.

I have been buying the frozen fruit. Strawberries and raspberries. I find this easier because I always have them on hand and do not have to worry about them spoiling.

mango is good and so is melon....if you don't like to chew. Chewing is good for your digestion though and it keeps your gums healthy....may want to schedule in a dental checkup sometime as well....Also berries are awesome and filled with lots of fiber....buy frozen ones because they end up being cheaper than fresh ones, if cost is a factor.

Hello Andrea, I love all fruit so this one is an easy one for me. I go to Sam's and buy the big things of Strawberries and clean them and put 12 of them in a baggie and either freeze them to eat later on or I already have my serving there, (I go through sooo many baggies in this plan) I also do the same thing for Cantelope and watermelon, measure out your cup full and put them in baggies to eat frozen or out of the ref, I can't keep my kids from eating all of my frozen fruits...You are doing great, keep it up
