I am very upset! Only .2 down. I tried so hard! After my weigh-in I sat down and cried. I followed everything the way I was supposed to. I've been on liquids for 2 weeks. I ate my protein. Took my vitamins. Exercised all but one day. It's just crazy.
My DH got on me and told me that I was being unreasonable. That I lost 6.2 pounds last week and another .2 this week. So that makes 6.4 for two weeks. I guess he's right. It does equal out to my goal and more. I want to lose 2 pounds a week. That is more than that. That comes out to 3.2 a week.
It's just so hard to take when I worked so hard. And didn't seem to accomplish anything. He also pointed out that maybe I built muscles. I guess that would be a great thing.
I'm trying to look at it bright, positive.
I'm also thinking about my clothes. Even tho I haven't lost all that much yet. I am not quitting until I get down to my goal. So I'm thinking about whether I should get rid of my big or fat clothes. You know the ones that just feel great no matter how large they on you? But they also make it possible for me to go back to the big size. But then I think if I do keep them then I won't have to spend money if I happen to get big again. But I'm not going to get that big again. A few pounds should put me on the road to paying attention if that were to happen.
Still thinking on it.
So anyway. I guess this should be a positive rest of the day.

Yes, he is right. Many times when we have a big drop the first week, the second week is a lot smaller. Stick with it. Consistency is key with weight loss. The scale will eventually catch up.

There were many times in that first year where my weight would not change and I would stay the same weight 3-4 weeks in a row. It is discouraging but your body is just adjusting fluid balance and then you will see the loss. Just keep doing what you are supposed to and eventually it will show results. Hang in there.
