36 years ago today I married my first husband ~ I weighed 130 pounds ~ now I have to shop in the men's section for tank tops ~ totally disgusted~
221.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 71.0 lb.    Diet followed poorly.
gaining 0.4 lb a week

Fantastic. Disgusted is a great first step. Now get angry and do something about it. If you can't do it on your own, go see a weight loss doctor. Mine says that there are no new secrets. Eating less calories and exercise are the answer. He gave me a diet pill to keep my appetite under control. They are helping a lot. I usually eat about 3500 calories a day. Yesterday I was under 1000. I averaged about 1600 in the past 3 weeks. When I don't exercise on that many calories, I stay the same weight. When I do exercise, I lose weight. Like I said, there are no new secrets. You can do it, if you try. It's tough but I know you can.

One more thing. The nice thing about being 220 pounds is, every time you walk down the hall, it takes a lot of effort and burns a lot of calories. Every bit of movement really helps. Best wishes, John
