Started eating some carbs, looking for complex carbs. I bought the forbidden black rice and am astounded by the nutritional value and full of complex carbs. I slowed to 2-3 pounds a week loss, am working out at the gym and let me tell you, the Chuck Norris Core Workout machine is worth more than any other machine in the place!

I used to be athletic and started playing basketball at the gym 2 sessions ago. It was amazing how the body reacted, like it had never stopped playing sports and that was 25 years ago and 85 pounds lighter. The body wanted to play and quickly generated the energy required to let me play! I was so wound up, I made three 3-point shots in a row! I loved it!

Another thing about the gym. It is new to me. I have never joined a gym or worked out even in my athletic years. I was tired the other day, you know I work 13 hard hours in the emergency room. I didn't want to go but did. My eyes were blurry when I started rowing the boat and by the time I left I was awake, laughing and proud to know I am changing. If you feel lazy, fight through it. You will love the way you feel!
280.0 lb Lost so far: 15.0 lb.    Still to go: 80.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
