Great, you're moving steadily down.

Thanks-- my weight loss has slowed by bout half since I started (first thirty days, compared to the last thirty days).. but not discouraged at all bout it. My doctor did tell me that my body will start slowing down on the weight loss due to the winter months that are coming...

Losing weight slower is still good, better to lose in a healthy way than crash dieting and gaining it back because you can't maintain it. It'd be great to lose like they do on the TV shows but that's just not real life. Keep up the good work.

Good job! You are moving down, even though you may think it is slow. Yes, at first the lbs seem to drop off. Then it gets progressively slower. I refer to this as the "fast fat" which came on suddenly usually after the holidays :) and the "marbled fat" that has been around for a long time, the extra weight your body has had the longest. Just don't give up! I use different tactics to "jumpstart" when the downward trend seems to stagnate. Sometimes even rechecking with online calorie counters with your new weight will give you different calorie goals or ratio goals.

I like how Kattay puts it ... she's right, the stuff comes off easy up front. The loss is great. nothing to be discouraged about here. i'd take 1/2 pound a week --- or any loss really. Good job!
