thanks for your support Im very greatful for that <3 I torn my meniscus coming down a latter that I had been on for hours at work back in spring of 2002 tried walking on it till I was dragging my left leg then had it repaired 8-2002 .. went back to work and since walking was big part of my work to walk all day my knee wouldn't stop swelling (( the Knee Dr told be after surgery that I would need a knee replacement sooner then latter )) just got my knee replacement this June been tough started walking right away but now I take much longer walks for exercise .. been a big challenge but I'm finely getting more comfortable with it and yes I may hurt after it but I think its all part of the healing <3 Im 62 years old and I have had several years were exercising 5 days a week was just apart of who I was I'm trying my best to get back to that ,, I have always felt better about myself when I do <3 sweet dreams <3

We are here to support each other! Healing after a knee replacement takes time, be patient and don't push yourself too much. With everyday that passes you will be feeling better and better and you will be able to accomplish the exercises you used to do. I also had a meniscus torn and surgery and later a foot fracture that kept me from exercising for sometime.
