Another of those weird little sudden weight drops. I ate as much salt as ever yesterday and drank a lot of water, but it isn't reflected on the scale. And I'll take it, thank you very much.
Got out of the house with the dogs yesterday, which was nice. Then I tried a veggie-pancake recipe that was surprisingly satisfying. Grated sweet potato, carrots, onions, eggs and just a little whole wheat flour. Had 2 with a side of savory greek yogurt. The leftovers are good the second day.
I am finding that I really like cooking and searching out interesting new recipes. I've been reading books like In Defense of Food, Real Food Has Curves, etc. I am finding a way of eating that works for me and I think I could maintain it for the long-term.
I try not to tell people I'm "dieting" because I realized that the calories a day I need to eat right now to lose 1 pound per week (1700) are about what I would need to eat to maintain my goal weight of 145 when I get there. Interesting isn't it? So it really is a lifestyle change. That's why I am trying to make changes I can sustain in the future. Now I just have to remember this when I am feeling like over-eating :-)

That is awesome! I'm ready for one of those weird little sudden weight drops. I've been doing what I should, hopefully the Woosh Fairy will visit me overnight!

Usually the Woosh happens when I drink a couple of cups of ginger turmeric green tea. A powerful diuretic for me, lol ! ;-) It'll happen Hipaagrammy!
