Not bad since I was in the hospital for two days. On Monday, I went into work had chest pains, and I was white as a ghost- the manager and assistant manager told me to get to the hospital- the manager rushed me there (almost killed me while going there, not).. but after the testes were run, three blood works, ekgs, chest x ray, they figured that I "twisted" the cartilage between the breast bone and the rib bones.. Praising God that it was not a heart attack, but now concern bout the bills.. Oh well, God will provide...

Oh my goodness! I'm glad you're okay. At least your co-workers care enough about you to get you some help. Thankfully it was not as serious as you all thought, but what a blessing they would have been had it been more serious! And you are so correct...God will provide.

Oh my gosh yes thank god it wasn't a heart attack but OUCH! how that happen ? Ask the hospital for help with the bill.

Oh my gosh! Thank goodness it wasn't worse, but I hear ya about the bills. :(
On a lighter note, your typo stating "...after the testes were run..." did make me smile. Of course I have the sense of humor of a 13 year old boy, LOL

Hoosier436-GOD is definitely in the business for providing and the devil is in the business for sabotage!!! Anything to keep you from reaching your goals, the devil will try to step in but GOD is able! You lost weight anyway, got a break from work, and those bills...stick them in your bible and say a prayer over them...GOD can fix it where you can get a raise to pay for them without breaking your bank, he can decrease the amount to where it will be affordable with your current income, or he will make it disappear! I believe and so should you! I am glad it wasn't as serious as a heart attack and pray speedy recovery! Good luck on your journey!!!

Thank you all for your kind words.. Yes, today was difficult in staying within the calorie intake.. I did not.. went way over today.. :-(
How did I do it? That is the question of the century. I am not sure how I did it.. I can not remember doing anything different in the last day or two.. but I did.. something.
Today has been kind of a bummer, Guess that my brother and I are "no longer brothers." He wrote me a nasty note- just what I needed. Yes he knew what happened to me, and I guess no one in the family called him. That broke the camel's back.. and then my desk top computer died, literally died on me today. No power no nothing.. I am now using an very old lap top.. that is slower then the dickens..

Is it possible that your brother wrote the nasty note to make you mad, so you would stop speaking to him? Maybe he thinks you might ask him for money to help in paying the hospital bill. I am sorry that he was mean to you, especially when you are not feeling well. The business office of the hospital can help you make payment arrangements.

Very glad that your heart is fine and the pain was from other relatively minor issues that will heal. When I was first married my wife got an acute infection and almost died, was in the hospital for several days and we had no health insurance. We got some assistance from social services and the hospital worked with us to set up a payment plan for the rest. It took 2 or 3 years but we paid it off, the hospital was patient and just glad we were making payments on it. Maybe they'll work with you on the bill. Hope you're feeling better.
