Turns out my weight increase wasn't as much as I first thought, I walked 22 miles over 11 hours yesterday (54000 steps).

I'm going to aim for 1500 calories daily and try to aim for 500 calories specifically for each meal as I struggle with portions, whenever I start eating I can't stop.

Thanks to everyone for their advice, I'm still unsure what to do going forward with my problems but I'm going to atleast try to control my weight, if I lose 3kg per month then in 2 months when I start university again I'll be back down to my lowest weight.
167.6 lb Lost so far: 22.0 lb.    Still to go: 30.9 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Hi Addison5712, thanks haha I first walked to my gym for an hour then spent like 2 hours on the treadmill then walked to get lunch for about an hour then came back for an hour again at the gym and then I walked around for an extra few hours to get there. I had to take a lot of breaks 😅 and for the last 2 or so hours I was limping around but I really wanted to just lose weight and turn my luck around this month so I thought a one off day for just walking would be the way to go 😁

Good on ya, altamash, just don't push yourself too hard, take it nice and steady. U don't want to make yourself poorly or burn out. We're all here to support u. Good luck xx

Hi Addison5712, thank you yea I know I should take it steady and not rush but I keep going back and forth on it, when I'm "taking it easy" I feel like I'm going too easy on myself so I try to compensate for it but then doing too much and getting burnt out like you said. I'll try to find a balance but it's quite hard for me to be consistent over time. Thank you

I think Addison is right. Much better to do less but consistently over time. Applies to both diet and exercise, forming habits that you can continue in life.

What shoes do you wear when walking this extraordinary number of miles? My feet start to die once I hit 10000.
