I start reintroducing foods today. I'm starting with oats. I've really missed my toasted oatmeal! While on elimination, I reacted to bananas. I also used pumpkin pie spice on squash and woke up with hand pain for the first time in weeks. I read the ingredients and found sulfites. This was McCormicks! I then read more spice labels and found that a bunch of others had sulfites. WTH!!! So, apparently, I react to sulfites. I'll test them again later. I'm feeling pretty well after my very restricted diet for three weeks. It hasn't been as bad as expected. I just haven't been able to eat away from the house. My cravings are gone. I haven't been hungry. I've lost nearly 10 lbs. I'd say the experiment has been successful so far. Onward

Johanne, this is great! You are finding out so much about what works and what doesn't moving forward. And getting rid of those cravings frees up so much brain space and energy for more important things, right? Good luck with the oats. Used to be a regular in my diet. Congrats on the weight loss! A nice side effect. :-)
