im sooo sick of 74!!!!! :'( what to do!
163.6 lb Lost so far: 44.8 lb.    Still to go: 35.7 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I remember being 70 for over a month - I was so upset...Now that I am down I realise the fat was loosening up and then one day BAM I dropped it :) ...varying my caloric intake helped me ..if you feed yourself consistant calories, your body picks up on the rythm and stores fat...if it doesn't know what's coming, you will shed the weight

I appreciate the comments guys. the thing is i think and am almost sure that it's my insulin resistance that causes this stand still. i lost 20kg's when i followed my insulin resistance diet which was gr8 but i wasn't allowed ANY fruit or white Pasta , milk or honey.brown sugar etc. im very greatfull for the dr that helped me to shed all those extra fat! but i must be honest, after 2 months i really started missing my cereal in the mornings and milk and fruit salad!!! (thats my FAV lol) so i decided to see another dr. that just put me on a super controlled,healthy diet. i must say i feel GREAT AND ENERGETIC and in a GOOD MOOD everyday! :D and barely hungry and mood swings are gone!! but yeah...... no weight loss. and i know its caus of the insulin resistance thing that doesn't break down my sugar as suppose to and putting me in fat storing mode permanently :'( "tear"

Also stuck on 74 and it won't budge I have today started with a calorie restricted eating plan because 2 weeks ago I weighed 70.4kg joined the gym and followed Low carb high protein and gained 4kg's. Weighed this morning and was 74.8 so gained another few grams.... BUT THEN FIRSTLY CONGRATULATIONS on the loss so far - that is way more than most people can say and although de-motivated now you should tap yourself on the shoulder and say well done ! You deserve to be proud of yourself.

I also gained weight after starting daily exercising :) You building muscle. It took me 4 weeks to finally start losing some weight but I noticed a cm loss which is always the best - Just keep going, don't give up. I'm finally down to 70 and looking forward to hitting the 60's again hehehe

I would not have minded cm loss but i have lost nothing and everything is tighter - feeling horribly uncomfortable but will stick it out thank you ! :) good luck for the last 10 ..

MissT I agree with Pontjiebotter you ought to be very proud of yourself. Just think you are not quite where you would like to be but you are so far from where you used to be. I have a dear FatSecret buddy who reminded me yesterday that it is important not to "undo" what I had achieved. Sometimes you just need to take a deep breath and when "life" gets hectic just try and maintain. You can always start losing more when you are ready and your head is in the right place.
