I come back to this site humble and slightly humiliated. I have been gone for 6 weeks, and I come back 17 pounds heavier. I am so ashamed. I am only 14 pounds away from my highest weight ever. I worked so hard to get away from that number, and I'm right back knocking at the door.

I have failed so miserably over the past couple of years. I have slipped back slowly but surely. Two years.. it took two years to undo a year of work. I am so sad right now. I'm determined to do something about this, but I need this little time to mourn the fact that I've messed up so badly. I will swallow it back and step up again. I have to, but I am really upset with myself right now.

All I can do is put one foot in front of the other and move ahead.

Don't be too upset with yourself. You're not alone. I haven't been doing well either. I've gotten lazy. We can do this though! I'm glad you're back.

I think it's just great that you're back at it! That's a huge step to take! The next steps are little steps... small choices to eat healthier, and small choices to exercise! You can do it!

You don't fail unless you quit. You've stoodback up and dusted yourself off. Now re-evaluate and make the commitment. You CAN do this! I have faith in you.
