Well, my weight was a little higher today than yesterday, but still a 2.5 lb loss for the week so I can't really complain. Doing well so far, no problem sticking within my goal calorie intake...if anything, some days I am far under it and try to find ways to bump it up a bit. Today I'm moving some work out equipment from my very hot garage into the house, so I can get more cardio workout in my daily plan. I need to go buy a new scale though...this one has wild fluctuations at times, requiring me to weigh myself over and over to try and gauge what the "normal" reading is (today got the same reading five times in a row, so feel pretty confident on that one).
230.5 lb Lost so far: 2.5 lb.    Still to go: 60.5 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

They have some great scales out there. My husband got me one for my bday. I ask for it. It measures water weight and BMI too. It was I think 30 at target. It was a bday gift or I would never have spent that much on a scale. Biggest Losers have a great scale too with a workout too. You are doing good, keep it up.

The scale I have does water and BMI also, but it's always been erratic as far as actual weight goes...even my hubby complains about it (you have to weigh yourself several times, to make sure you get it right). It's a fairly new scale, but was like this even when it was new. I've sent hubby out to find a new one this afternoon. As long as it measures BMI, I'm fine with whatever he picks out. Tried walking today, with a goal of 30 minutes, but my dog gave out at 10 and I had to carry her home. Maybe she needs the exercise even more than I do. lol Thanks for the encouragement.

Oh ... I think all scales are imperfect at best!! Mine only measures weight and that will have to do for me for now!! If it measured anything else I would just obsess over it anyway!! LOL! Sounds like you are definitely ... on your way!! Thanks for the add!!

Scales are random number generators but I would check the battery to be sure that isn't bad.

Madaboutmoose...you are so right about just obsessing over the other numbers. We got a new scale, and it seems to be pretty steady as far as the weight calculations (it weighs me 1/2 lb more than the one I just replaced, but I can live with that). The new scale is giving a much higher BMI number for me though...really high. Now I'm paranoid over that. lol And despite all the water I'm consuming all day, it says I'm dehydrated. I should probably stick to a scale with just the weight, it would give me less to worry about. lol Shia34...battery was good, it wouldn't function at all when the battery got low, just flash on and off. It was just a freaky scale. lol
