GabLynn's Journal, 17 June 2014

My daughter just turned a year and I am back to my prepregnancy weight...now I need to get back on track to loosing the rest of the weight! I am having trouble finding an exercise plan I can stick to though. I started a 30-day Ab Challenge but after 12 days I felt quite a bit of pain (not the good workout kind either) at/near my c-section incision site. My biggest areas of concern/trouble is my stomach. The other wrinkle is that I am still breastfeeding so I have to be careful about what I eat still. My hope is that I can find a cardio workout plan that will help me loose the weight that I can do in my living room since Summer in in full force here and air quality is an issue. I also want to look at workout routines using a medicine ball or kettle weights. Any suggestions are appreciated.

If you go to collagevideo.com, you can look at different videos. They give you short samples of what the videos are like. You can also look at reviews on there and on amazon. There are so many out there. I always loved Jillian Michaels 30 day shred because its short and kicks your bod in to shape quickly (25 minutes). If you did something like that 3 days a week and some cardio (walking with baby), you would be in killer shape. But it depends on what you enjoy. You can do zumba, striptease, yoga, kettlebell, etc. So many to choose from. I also love Bob Harper's workouts. He combines cardio with strength training in many workouts. You might also get some out of the local library to try. No matter what, it takes time to build endurance so don't get frustrated if you can't do video first time. If I can't do something, I march/job in place. Do some research and see what is out there. You can also make a small home gym with a mat and light weights. I have a small workout area of my home and collect dvds so i have a good variety to choose from.
