I finally feel confident I am actually losing weight because of my calorie deficit - so I committed to logging it.

I gave up diet soda for Lent today. I am not even Catholic, but I thought I should use this opportunity to just do it! Drinking and logging coffee and water for the first time in my life.

I feel amazing because... I started my morning off with 5:30am yoga. I realized - this is my first yoga class of the year. This is my first yoga class as a sober nonsmoker. It has been at least six months and thirty pounds ago since the last class. To look on the bright side - I am burning more calories because my extra body weight helps.

My friend canceled our plans to go shopping after work so I am excited to do yoga again tonight with my favorite instructor Sue - I've taken her classes for years and I love her style the most - unfortunately - I compare all other yoga classes to hers and none of the others measure up to hers for me.

My husband is out of town so I blasted my EDM music as I showered. My daughter didn't have class today so I was able to drive my own car to work. (Hers is in the shop)

My only dilemma at this time is work is throwing a pizza party - I brought my meal replacement shake for lunch, and I am heavily debating if I should have just one bite of pizza (or at least eat the toppings without the crust) or stick to my March Madness fasting/shake/salad meal plan I invented. I can always have a whole pizza when I get back from Hawai'i in April. I will let you know tomorrow what I decide.
178.0 lb Lost so far: 2.2 lb.    Still to go: 33.0 lb.    Diet followed 100%.
