I joined a nutritionist program to design a baseline macro eating plan for me, and the result is a low carb diet which I’m not thrilled about. Her philosophy is that, in short, blood sugar is the bottom line of controlling weight - that’s after removing all the toxic processed packaged foods and eating whole foods again. At least I’m back under 200 lbs and I’ll be satisfied if I can just stay here!
198.8 lb Lost so far: 24.6 lb.    Still to go: 13.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
losing 0.4 lb a week

I think if that was her philosophy that would be the diet she recommended. I do not know if you have low carbed before but you could give it a try and see what you can learn and apply towards your own eating plan.
