Ok, I am fed up, and think I should stay off the scale..
Yes got my stupid TOM... which I haven't had in a month or two, so pretty bloated feeling...
I swear if I do not see 269 by next Tuesday, I am going to hurt someone lol..
Maybe I should just consider weighing once a month, or 1 time a week, I just don't know if I can do it.. guess if I was feeling different than it would all be ok..
I feel a lot of pressure can't I have little time to lose 30-40 lbs.. I cant go on this flight to Ireland this fat.. I just can't... it would be terrible...

I really really don't want to change eating plans either...
I need to focus on the end result, I also really need to start exercising... stop making excuses.
I also start my nite job back on Friday nite, which is a killer, mon thurs and Friday nites to midnite... plus working a 10 hr day..
but there are still 5 days a week I can work out.. I just need to move this big old butt and do it.
273.4 lb Lost so far: 5.6 lb.    Still to go: 74.4 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

Barb I feel your frustration and wish I had the miraculous answers for you but there are days when I feel the same. When you are doing everything right and it feels as though you are making no progress it just makes you want to hurt someone! LOL I believe most of your frustration and pressure to get it done is from your upcoming trip, (awesome place I was there 4 yrs ago). I too have deadlines and upcoming occasions which make me feel under the gun. Maybe exercise and movement will be the answer to snap your body into a losing mode. I'm sure that is what's missing from my results but my knee is giving me so much trouble now (pain meds 4xs a day) with little relief that just getting up from a chair is difficult for me, so the best I can do right now is stick with my meal plan and hope for the best till I can get mobile again after my surgery. Maybe your right and staying away from the scale will be a good thing for you to try? Not sure if I helped any but just know I'm with you and sending you positive thoughts! :)

Thanks friend.. I am just soo annoyed.. when I feel I am doing things correct, and not cheating.. Ohhh you were in Ireland.. did you love it, u will have to tell me more.. I am tagging on with a friend, this trip is a dream for me, and I just can't deal with a long flight and all that walking when I am this big... it would be a nightmare. I have some arthritis in my knee and think in my feet, they really hurt sometimes... and this stupid frozen shoulder, which has been 2 yrs of hell.. but... one day I will be able to lift weights again, until then, I can do the wii , and biggest loser work outs.. and walk.. sitting on my butt complaining isn't the answer is it lol.. thanks for always supporting me.. and btw, your doing frigging amazing.

I've been losing and gaining the same 3-5 lbs for almost 2 years. I know how it feels. I'm also on a version of Atkins. I love it when I stay on it. I snack and log it.... That's my biggest problem.. But I don't eat any grains.... Not after reading Dr Davis's Wheat Belly. Good luck... Or Better luck...

Barb, I was not able to weigh myself for a whole month. I just had to practice my discipline without any feedback. Now that I look back on that I can say that it really worked for me.

Thanks so much Barb you know it's friend like you who keep me going and gives me the determination to keep at it! :) Ireland was a dream trip for me also, I tagged along with a friend who was going to a wedding there so I was included in the whole wedding party craziness that was planned and it was friggin awesome! I will send you a private message later and give you all the particulars. I definitely know about arthritis in knees and feet, actually sometimes my bone spurs in my ankle can be worse than my knee and it can cause such trouble with getting around. Yes, this is a trip where you will do lots of walking and stair climbing especially if you go and tour some of the castles. I will be honest I don't think I could do it now with all that is going on with me, it was tough back then because I was carrying so much weight, that it took all I had in me too keep up with the rest of the crowd. So do try to start some kind of exercise routine so you will at least feel more mobile while you are there. Well I need to get my butt in gear I have to get to the hospital for some of my pre-op testing today so I will get back to you later.

Barb, just keep working your program. Take your eyes off that ultimatum you've placed on yourself, and remember that you are healthier now than you were a month ago...and a month from now you will be healthier yet! I hope you make your goal, but if you dont, remember you are not a failure. You are changing your life one day, one meal at a time. Take your eyes off the weight, and put it on your true self, the inner you. Take care of that person, and the weight will come off in time. Hugs(())
