The scale is headed downward. If you weigh daily, then you need to expect the scale to fluctuate. Google "why the scale lies" for insight in to water weight. Hormones, sodium, stress and many other factors can affect the scale and our water weight. It may be slow going but it's still going, lol! Make sure you are following the plan correctly. Make sure you are drinking water. Never compare your last time to this time, because it can be different every time. Weather is getting nice so getting active may help too. Just keep going!

I know , I am just annoyed, because it is usually faster, I can handle losing a little at a time, as long as it is consistently.. ahhh

I did a program that is called Diet free for life and I will swear by this. It is not a diet but teaching you how to eat certain foods in a combination that gets your metabolism working again. It really does work!. I just turned 50 and started it last year and I got into jeans I have not worn in years! (not sure why I kept them but am glad I did so I could really see how much it worked.

Stick with it and stay. I too am on the Atkins diet and go to the gym mon-fri where I work my butt off there on the treadmill for an hour at a 12% incline at 4mph and I do a weight workout for 15 to 30 min on the same days and my weight has not moved.

Try using light weights instead of walking. Even just 3-5 lb weights. Building muscle increases your metabolism a lot faster than cardio. Plus it takes less time doing weights to get double the benefits of cardio. That switch up might help you get off the plateau.

I shouldn't have any plateau, as I am just one week today on Atkins... I am following program 100%.. I can't lift weights, as I have a should injury and can't lift my left arm, and it will be probably 6 more months until I can.. very hard for someone who used to lift a lot. thanks girls.

Make sure you are drinking more water especially important when eating large amounts of protein. Also watch your salt intake. Secondly, you can do bicep curls, triceps kick backs, single arm rows, delt lifts to the side and forward with your good arm. Also if you go to the gym you can do cable exercises on your legs or use the machines. Things like lunges and squats build lots of leg and glutes muscles without additional weight. Trying some different options, talk to a trainer or your physical therapist.

Thanks.I am doing the wii fit boxing, and step work outs, lots of kicking and squat exercises... I have frozen shoulder.. so I can't lift my arm, only have way, this is the 2nd round, I had it in my right arm, then as that healed I got it in my left, very very frustrating , for someone who loves to lift weights, and totally believes muscle is a great thing. But I still have at least 100 lbs to lose.
