Mardi Gras started last Sat. nite & continued til Wed morn. I had a great time but the calories went up like a rocket! Jambalaya! Whiskey-sauced bread pudding. But we did dance our boots off doing the Cajun 2-step for several hours. I'm not too happy with my lack of self-control but keeping active had helped me hold the line. I didn't log in for 3 days...(she said shamefacedly)!

This week company arrives. As we all know, that's more drinking, more eating, more, more, more. So this time I'm going to print out my personal challenges and keep them on my dresser so every morning I try just a little harder to "tow the line". It has to be a life-style thing. I'm liking my results, small steps tho they may be, and I know I can do it. Already jeans are fitting better, tops have stopped gaping, and my energy levels are up. People: there are other rewards besides that number on the scale!! Send me positive thoughts, plse - I'll need 'em over the next 2 weeks.
162.0 lb Lost so far: 4.0 lb.    Still to go: 12.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
gaining 0.8 lb a week
