I believe it's MY time to DANCE \:D/

Whatever I'm doing, I should keep doing it. Keeping my calories between 1400-1500, making sure my protein and carbs together add up to close to my fat intake.

And best of all: Not a minute of exercise ;)

P.S. I take this all back should a jinx comes my way

Happy Sunday! Sounds like you're having a great day. Congrats on your great success. I hate to say it, but I'm far to busy (and yes, lazy) to exercise. Don't know when I would even fit it in. So I'm right there with you. No jinx, no jinx. ;-)

Great job!! Exercise is good for your body and will really help your health and bones as you get older.

Exercise does help stabilize a lot of things in your body, but I've always believed a lot of people quit because they try to change everything at once. The fail at one of them and they get so frustrated they give up both. My guess is eventually you will feel so good you will be ready to start some kind of activity. When that time comes, pick something you like. Don't stationary cycle or get on a treadmill just because it's 'good for you.' Take the dog for a walk. Plant some flowers and replace your current avatar. Volunteer somewhere. Everything works. It doesn't have to be high volume aerobics to work.

I agree northernmuscian. Definitely add it in bits to your day or your week. Don't go gung ho into something that does not fit your life. But do try to add some.

I'm very active walking the dog, gardening and hiking with my Nikon spring summer and fall.... Minnesota winters are cold and ling, so I don't get a whole lot of activity in. I'm just happy to have been able to lose 13 pounds in 4 weeks without having any exercise. ... And LOL at NM on the avatar!

Definitely hard to get out and do much in the winter. I too would rather be outside doing things instead of stuck inside, summer here often creates issues due to the heat. I'm just on this exercise crusade because it has helped me so much in changing the way I feel since September when my doc finally gave me the go ahead.

As I said before - I still think you look anemic in your Avatar photo.

Believe me, I can't wait for this winter to be over. I want to walk my fat dog and plant a pretty garden and get back into a nice veggie garden. But I gotta admit, lazing in my comfy recliner this cold winter with 5 of my cats is quite cozy lol

Kinda what I've been doing today but with some books and off and on my two crazy pooches, no cats. After a couple nicer days the cold, damp, dreary weather is back, sun was out for a little while, mostly gray.

Just 30 minutes a day of walking will make all the difference in the world. You just have to be persistent and diligent about it. If you don't do any exercising, you could get to the point where your body could get satisfied with 1400-1500 calories for maintenance mode and put the nix on weight loss.
