Down another two pounds today. Whoo-hoo. I didn't really keep up with entering my meals into my food diary. I was dealing (still am) an awful ear infection. It was so bad, I could barely stand the pain, and the swelling kept me from closing my mouth all the way. Which is prbly the reason I lost two pounds, lol.

I had a good visit with my therapist today. We talked about my anxiety, which was rather calm this week. I think it helped I'm getting back into my art again. I spent the pain free days working on resin charms, and I made a set of heart shaped crayolas, for my two nieces, for Valentine's Day. I also plan to make them each a necklace. It seems to help keep my panic attacks at bay. As long as I am busy, and have a purpose, I'm okay.

Did ok food wise today. There where a few things I could have lived without. Like the 300 calorie Starbucks coffee this morning, or the can of Dr. Pepper at lunch. I know with my blood sugar running around 200, those where NOT good choices at all, but damn it, I needed my Dr. Pepper today. I think a can a day is a lot better than when I was drinking a 2 liter or more a day. It's just so so hard to give it up! Caffeine withdrawals are hell! If anyone has any tips to help me get over them, I'd sure appreciate it.

One thing I do like, is the fatsecret app. It's so easy to have the app to enter my foods when I'm out and about. I really love the code scanner! So easy!

Try using a different kind of caffeine. I used to be addicted to Mt Dew. I cold turkey'd it and had the headaches to go with it. If I had to do it again...I would use Crystal Light Energy packets in water. They have caffeine in them...but only 10 calories. You add them to a bottle of water. Yummy and so much better for you than the soda.
