I just lost 5lbs this week! That is 10lbs in 2 weeks!!!! I am really pleased with myself for making it through 2 weeks and for taking small changes to become healthier that I hope to make permanent habits...
In particular eating salad every day, limiting fast food, and no more diet soda... I only worked out one day in 2 weeks. Im not going to beat myself up about that because from the beginning I decided to slowly increase exercise as my weight plateaus throughout my plan. So anyhow... this week my goals are to walk at least 10 miles total, no soda, and eat 1 salad a day... My goal weight loss is to lose 2 lbs this week... Anything else is bonus!!! Wish me luck! A big motivator for me is all of you going through this with me. It really helps to know I am not alone. (((((Hug)))))

That's pretty much what I'm doing. Great! I've been eating better for the last two weeks and have lost 8 lbs. This morning I felt better. Last week did the salad for lunch and this week it's 1/2 cup of soup. Smoothie for dinner. Boy what a difference.

Great job Jess! keep up the good work. Slowly changing your eating habits is the best way to go. It was hard for me, but it works! Don't worry so much about exercising. Add in the exercise when you can. It is a great booster, but as with changing your eating habits, you need to ease into the exercise. You don't to get discouraged and quit totally when you don't meet your exercise goals. Be proud of yourself!
