HealthyBabs's Journal, 12 February 2011

Good Morning Buddies! I am so happy to be home and back to my normal routine. It was very difficult to stay on track, no time to be here keeping up with my journal, running back and forth to the hospital, taking my mom to dr appts, arranging snow plowing and cleanup duties, and on and on. Caring for two 80 year old parents who insist on living in a home larger than they can keep up with is a challenge from time to time, but one I am totally happy to do along with my brother who thankfully is an RN. Enough of that, dad is doing well, had a couple of dicey days but was finally moved to rehab facility yesterday and should be home in a couple of weeks.
So... weighed in this morning, didn't have really high expectations for a big loss but was able to go down 2/10th of a pound.
I did go shopping at a nice local co-op market on my way home and was able to find Ezekiels bread, hormone free locally raised chicken, beef, and pork, dry beans, organic veggies of all sorts. Stocked up on things for the freezer. Time to get some planning done for the week and read up about next weeks challenge.
