When am I going to get my head out of the sand and get this weight loss journey done. I’m never going to be able to maintain if I can’t even get it off of me I. The first place. Yesterday I ate correctly. Even lower calories. I’d blame it on the stress I am experiencing but that is just stupid. I will always have stress in my life and have to cope without retaining
167.6 lb Lost so far: 38.5 lb.    Still to go: 30.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I am an emotional eater and it greatly affects me. I have found an app called being me that is essentially a motivational guided journal. I find it very helpful in documenting my feelings and it’s helped me immensely in the week or so that I’ve been using it. Good luck to you ☺️

@cryoungman. Ty for that suggestion. I have been gettin into bible study. Maybe I should find a way to link it with my emo eating

There is something called the life recovery bible that also comes with a workbook. I am in the substance use recovery field and use them with clients that want faith based recovery. I don’t see why it wouldn’t work substituting the substance for food

The HOly Bible study is a fantastic idea. If you're doin' it w/others, it gives one a great chance to discuss the stories, characteristics, parables, etc. behind the lessons that can/must be learned if not by reading and deciding on your own, then by trial & error or just from experience. I've joined many a times for Holy Bible studies w/group. I enjoy it. I do, however, pray to God, Jesus, all the saints/angels/dearly departed ones in heaven on a daily basis. I also talk to whomever happens to be around me at any given time: Holy Spirit. God and all in heaven, are assisting me in my weight loss...Amen YOu can do it too. Try meditation and/or Tai-Chi too. O:-)

You are doing good too! I wish we could do it more quickly. That's probably why many people give up. As long as you aren't starving yourself it's not too difficult it just takes alot of time, patience and consistency! We can do it though! We are doing it!!!! Keep up the good work Freetime!!!
