I 'think' I have hit a plateau. I have exercised harder since Saturday...by adding more into my normal routine. I didn't lose anything for 4 days and gained .6lbs today.
I'm on a low carb diet...and tried counting 'net carbs' starting Saturday until Tuesday. This is when my stall started. I resumed counting Total carbs yesterday and the scale showed an increase today.
Any suggestions to adjust my body to where it wants to burn again?
I eat under 1200 calories a day.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks!! :)

Sheesh! What you are doing pits most of us to shame! You go, girl! Maybe your body is resisting your efforts and needs a bit of a break? As for what else to try...I got nothing!

Maybe a 3-4 day fat fast? Thats what I am doing anyways. Your stall might just need for you to wait a little while though. I have a true slow metabolism and you are probably just going through a normal plateau. It seems the older I get the harder it is to lose weight but I am committed and count and weigh everything!

Make sure when exercising you are not doing the same routine over and over because your body knows what you are doing and that is when you plateau.

Thanks for the responses :). I don't know what kind of 'break' to give myself. Yes, I am getting older, 48. I am stumped. I am doing the same thing every day for cardio...for about 7 weeks now so that is something my body is getting used to. I do interval sprints while jogging/running. I 'thought' that if I added swimming (I can only last 15 minutes steady laps)...and now I am doing 12-20 minutes light hand weights while watching a video online. Other than that, I'm not sure what else to 'switch up/out'. I read that low-carbers should 'carb up' once every two weeks. Does anyone know anything about that? Again, thanks for your encouragement and advice :)
