Okay, this is it. I am officially on day one of starting over. I am completely prepared. I know it is going to be tough but I can do this. It seems like the first four days back on plan are usually the hardest. I have my almonds, my cheese, my lunch for today and some cans of vienna sausages in case I am starving. Tonight it will be grilled pork chops and steamed broccoli & cauliflower. I bought some sugar free wintergreen lifesavers too. I love those! I just have to ration them out or I will eat too many. Have any of you tried the Smokehouse almonds? When I first tried them I thought... how gross... but now I think they are so good. Guess they grew on me.

Well guess what? I GOT THE JOB!!! They called me yesterday and offered me the job that I interviewed for. I didn't feel like I really wowed them at the interview but I got the job! Yay! It pays more than I am making now, I will get vacation, sick pay, insurance! This is really great news. Oh it also cuts off about 50 miles a day in driving for me. I will be only 20 minutes from home now. I can help Cody get the girls on the bus in the morning. He is really excited about that. I know it will be very fast paced and difficult but I am ready for it. It's what I want to do. I loved doing HR and Payroll at my last job and now I am in more of a general office/accounting role. This will be a great opportunity for me to learn and build a foundation to move up someday. I hope I love this place and can grow with the company. More good news last night. I officially have my Associates Degree now. I was so afraid the guidance councelors were going to tell me that I missed something and I had to complete another class. I called them yesterday evening and it's all good to go! I should be getting my degree in the mail from Tarrant County College by the end of the month. Whoo Hoo! Now I called Eastern and they told me that my Statistics class was up in the air now because they couldnt find an instructor. I can take a different class but I really wanted to get that Statistics class out of the way because it is a prerequisite for some of the other classes I need.
