I've been following Extreme Fat Smash pretty well, although I may have an extra allowed snack throughout the day. I keep nonperishable things in my car (nuts, wasabi peas) to counter any hunger pangs I might get while I'm moving throughout my day. I'm taking an interest in running and ran another mile just the other day. I'm planning on trying for another mile today. It's tough but my legs are already growing accustomed to it. I had a flash of muscle memory while I was running the other day and I could see myself getting back into it again. I used to run years and years ago, so it was a nice feeling.
We have yet another first communion (nephew) today, and then Mother's Day brunch tomorrow, so I'm sure this weekend won't be spent strictly following the diet. At least, now, I find that I don't overeat.
Have a good weekend all!

Not overeating makes a big difference in our caloric intake. Your're doing fantastic! Good luck with bringing running back in your life. Enjoy your special occasions.

I use to run. Aprrox 2.5 miles 5x a week. I lost my running partner so I had to stop running. One day out of the blue my husbanc and I decide to see if we could still do the run. I use to run it in 28 minutes I did it in 32. Not bad for a year off. We ran trails so there was a lot of hills. One thing that I thnk helped get me through it is that I had been doing a lot of leg work w/ weights. curls extensions squats. I don't think I could have made it if I hadn't been doing weights. Grant it my pace is slow but it gets me there. So I think it is wonderful if you start running. Keep in mind that experts say as well as my experience, for some reason running increases your apetite. So be sure to protein up afterwards. About your wasabi peas. Are those tasty? I've been looking at them the past several times I went to the store but wasn't sure if I would like? Keep up all the Good Work!
