I've become a widow since last time I weighed in. My husband had a craniotomy and then radiation to his head in August of 2010; life was "interesting" for the next 2 1/2 years :/ and he died April 17th of this year. One day in the past couple weeks I got on the scale and realized I'd gained 10# since then - - ten pounds in four months! At this rate I'll hit 300 before the end of 2015!

now that my life is less interesting again I'm better able to concentrate on weight loss and living healthy. I've lost 3# in the past 10days-2wks and have nothing but confidence now.
225.6 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 80.6 lb.    Diet followed poorly.

thanks Lenny. The past couple years and especially the last 6 months are kind of a blur to me. It's just this past week I'm starting to function as a human being again. a couple things i really needed to do were increase water consumption and cut back on my alcohol intake. To give you an idea of how much I'd been drinking, my "cutting down" is: I have a glass or two of wine with each meal (breakfast too if i feel like it), and a tall "nightcap" or two at bedtime. Now I'm easily putting away 4-6 liters of H2O per day.
