I'm back... sorry I took off for a while there. Had some down time - healed up now, I'm still waiting to get back to the gym (got the no-go from the gym and my doctors... I'm allowed after the Labour day long weekend!)

Things were getting tough at home, my boyfriend is having some alcohol issues, and i was getting dragged down - so I started goin to Al-Anon meetings. They really are great. I think he's having a midlife crisis... and me being the one that wants things perfect was trying to control the situation. I learned I have to back off and let him do what he needs to do to realize he's harming not only himself but his family and hopefully realize he needs to take some steps to recovery. It's killing me seeing this - and I have to constantly remind myself not to get dragged down as well.

I finally also got my Allergy testing done. I am allergic to my pets. I found my dog a wonderful new home (boyfriend taking it the hardest - it was his first dog, but he also never cleaned up after her and refused me to bring her to the vet... she was locked up at home all day alone - and finally got him to come around to realize that we couldn't keep her). I need to find a home for my kitty. We've agreed to get some fish (nothing fancy). I'm also allergic to house dust, which explains a LOT!! I hated cleaning because I always broke out into rashes. I Used to joke around that I was allergic to cleaning - well I guess I wasn't that far off!!

I also found out I'm allergic to Wheat and Corn Pollens - so no farming for me.

The worst of it though is my allergy to Birch Pollen (why I randomly started swelling for a walk in May). The immunologist went over a HUGE list of food that may affect me due to this allergy. Which is basically EVERYTHING I eat! He said there's a good chance my "overnight 10 lbs water weight gain" is actually allergic reactions! He said I need to cut it all out - and start eating them slowly to see what I'm allergic to or not. There are a few I've always known I have had issues with e.g. Pineapple,Kiwi, Bananas, peaches, strawberries etc... if these are cooked, I have no problems. The list also includes tree nuts, peanuts, beans, carrots, peas, celery, tomatoes etc etc.

Now I'm looking at why I'm bruising with a simple touch and the bald spots on my head (hair falling out in alarming amounts).

Quit smoking and I fall apart :(

Anways, I'll try getting back into the groove of recording of everything I eat.
