Week 3 of Boot Camp completed. Just 1.2 lbs to go to reach my first goal of 250 - so close I can alamost taste the victory. I must try not to get blase abut my eating. I've started to feel that I've cracked this healthy eating and thats when little bites of this, that and the other start creeping in and before you know it the scales are going up. I've noticed my clothes are starting to get a little loose again, so I hope I'm going to get into my new outfit in a week or so.

I'm feeling optimistic that I can do this and that I will reach my final goal. Exactly what that is I haven't decided yet. I have no idea what I will look or feel like at a much much lower weight. I've been over 300 lbs for at least 35 years and very overweight since my teens. Sometimes I feel a right idiot - I've reached 66 and only now am I getting my body in order. What a waste of all those years. Oh well, onwards and upwards ( that should be downwards) I'm half way there already so nearing the end of this year I should be joining all those who are maintaining. Have a good day and keep smiling.

flaxseed - know how yuou feel - am doing weight watchers and am 6/10ths of a lb aqay from my 25% of my weight goal - thought i would never make it. down to 232 and proud of it - know what you mean about waiting - I'm 63 - didnt wait just keep trying different things - would lose and then gain back and then lose and gain back - this time am doing it the right way and I WILL NOT gain it back - my will power is a lot stronger now than it was when I was younger and thathelps a lot. Also weight watchers is not really a diet - its a change of lifestyle - I can eat anything I want - I just have to eat less of it and modify something else if I do. Good luck and keep the faith

Thank you so much. I'm looking at it as a change of lifestyle too. I think that's the only way. Keep on trucking - we'll be there before you know it
